Hiring a driver in Napa is smart. After all, you want to drink wine when wine tasting, not toss it into a spit bucket or worry about over indulging. So yes, you need a driver but how do you find a good driver? Well, that’s easy!

I work with a lot of drivers and transportation companies but only a few make it to my guide. I’m very picky about who I connect my readers to and happy to introduce you to Celest, a designated driver who drives you in your rental or personal vehicle.

IS A DESIGNATED DRIVER EXPENSIVE? I’M ON A BUDGET!
A designated driver is your least expensive option for a private driver in Napa. Forget about Uber - spotty service, lack of drivers when you need them, and at the end of the day you don’t save a lot of money using Uber, especially if you miss a winery appointment and get charged for a no-show. Celest will drive your vehicle or rental, get you to each stop on time, and can also help you pick some good wineries if you are overwhelmed. She can even show you all of the two for one spots if you want to stretch your budget.
Celest was fabulous, she knows so much history about Napa valley and wineries/estates which made for a very fun drive and was able to ensure we had a dinner reservation by calling ahead while we were doing our wine tasting. She recommended several spots for us to add to our list including going to Sonoma and suggested a host she knew there at Fulcrum wines which we adored. She made our drive to Calistoga wonderful and was very communicative throughout the process, even following up after to see if we needed anything! She took pictures of us during our tasting at Reverie which was such a special experience. I cannot recommend her enough!
